Anagnorisis is a death/black metal band based out of Louisville, Kentucky. The band has existed since 2003 in various forms, originally as a side project between Lunn and Kerr, then adding Pierce while writing and recording a demo. After adding Denham in 2005 the band began playing shows in 2006, finally adding Hartman on keyboards. The current Anagnorisis line-up as a five piece has been touring extensively in 2007 and signed to Shiven Records out of Chicago in June of 2007.[1] They are currently recording their debut full length, Overton Trees, at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida[2]
